Service Fees Policy
RUDRALEELA PRIVATE LIMITED — Operating ROMANCHA Version: 1.0 | Effective Date: April 25, 2026Romancha charges zero fees.
No platform commission. No service fee. No booking fee. No payment handling fee.
For guests: The price the host sets is the price you pay, plus the government-mandated GST — a tax collected for the Indian government, not income for Romancha. For hosts: The Listing Price you set is the amount you receive. Romancha deducts nothing as a platform fee. The only deductions from your payout are statutory taxes (TCS and TDS where applicable) — advance payments of your own tax liability that you reclaim when filing your returns. How is this possible?
Because we are not a platform.
We look like one. You open the app, you find a home, you book a stay. But what you see on your screen is the smallest part of what we do.
Behind every home on Romancha, there is a team that sat in that family's kitchen and helped them turn their empty rooms into a living. We renovated their bathrooms. We furnished their rooms. We registered their business. We filed their paperwork. We trained them. We stood next to them when their first guest arrived and they were nervous.
We are their partner. Not their platform.
Platforms charge commission because the commission is how they survive. That is all they do — connect you to a host and take a cut for the introduction.
We survive because we build. We build homes into businesses. We build families into business owners. We build corridors into destinations. The work we do with our hosts goes so deep that charging them a commission on top of it would be like charging your family member rent for sitting at the dinner table.
We cannot charge the people we build with. It would break something that no business model can repair.
So we don't.
This is not generosity. This is identity. We are not a booking company that decided to be free. We are a community enterprise company that happens to have a booking platform. There is a difference. And that difference is why no one else does this — because to offer what we offer for free, you have to do everything we do behind it. And that is very hard to copy.
Your money goes to the person whose home you are staying in. Every rupee. If that changes, we are no longer us.
