Community Standards
RUDRALEELA PRIVATE LIMITED — Operating ROMANCHA Version: 1.0 | Effective Date: April 25, 2026Romancha is a community of hosts and guests built around authentic Indian hospitality. These standards apply to everyone on the platform — guests, hosts, and anyone who interacts through Romancha.
For Everyone
Respect and dignity. Treat every person with basic courtesy and decency. Harassment, intimidation, threats, or abuse of any kind — whether online through the platform or in person — will result in account suspension. Honesty. Do not provide false information about yourself, your property, your identity, or your bookings. Misrepresentation is grounds for permanent removal. No discrimination. Romancha is for everyone. See our Nondiscrimination Policy for details on who is protected and what is permitted. Safety first. Do not engage in conduct that creates physical, emotional, or financial risk for other community members. For Hosts
Deliver what you promise. Your Listing is a commitment. If you say you have a vegetarian kitchen, functioning AC, or easy temple access — it must be true. Guests book based on your Listing. Misrepresentation is a serious violation. Welcome all guests. If you have set restrictions on your Listing (vegetarian only, families only, women only) — guests who meet your criteria must be welcomed without discrimination based on caste, religion, name, or appearance. Respond promptly. Respond to booking requests within 24 hours. Leaving guests in the dark is not acceptable. Privacy of your guests. Do not place surveillance cameras in bathrooms, bedrooms, or any private space. Cameras in common areas must be disclosed in your Listing. Safety disclosure. Disclose any known hazards, risks, or limitations in your Listing — structural issues, seasonal access problems, lack of emergency services nearby, etc.For Guests
Respect the host's home. You are a guest in someone's home or space. Respect their rules, their belongings, and their lifestyle. Respect cultural norms. Many Romancha properties are located near sacred sites or operated by families with strong religious practices. Respect dress codes, dietary rules, and quiet hours as posted. No parties, no illegal activity. Unauthorised events, alcohol in dry zones, drug use, or any illegal activity on premises will result in immediate removal and ban. The host has the right to ask you to leave. Check-in and check-out timings. Arrive within your agreed check-in window. Communicate delays to your host in advance. Leave the property on time. Reviews must be honest. Leave a review that reflects your actual experience. Fake reviews or reviews intended to extort a host are a violation and will be removed.Consequences
Romancha investigates all reported violations. Based on severity and pattern, consequences may include:
- Warning and required acknowledgement of this policy
- Listing removal (for hosts)
- Booking cancellation without refund (for guests)
- Account suspension (temporary or permanent)
- Reporting to law enforcement where legally required
