Reviews Policy
RUDRALEELA PRIVATE LIMITED — Operating ROMANCHA Version: 1.0 | Effective Date: April 25, 2026Reviews are central to trust on Romancha. This policy governs who can leave reviews, what can and cannot be removed, and how manipulation is handled.
Who Can Leave a Review
- Guests may leave a review for a host/property after a completed stay (checkout confirmed).
- Hosts may leave a review for a guest after a completed stay.
- Reviews are unlocked 24 hours after the guest's checkout date.
- Reviews must be submitted within 14 days of checkout. After this window, the review option expires.
What Makes a Good Review
A review should reflect your honest experience. It should be:
- Based on your actual stay
- Focused on the accommodation, host communication, and experience
- Factual and fair
- Constructive where critical
What Romancha Will Remove
Romancha will remove a review if it contains:

| Discriminatory content | Caste, religion, gender-based slurs |
| Irrelevant content | Review about politics, unrelated opinions |
| False factual claims | Proven to be demonstrably untrue |
| Extortion-linked content | Review written after a demand for money/refund |
| Private information | Sharing personal data (phone numbers, addresses) |
| Content about ongoing legal disputes | May be removed pending resolution |
Reviews are not removed because they are negative. Critical reviews are part of the system. Hosts cannot have unfavourable reviews deleted simply by requesting it.
Review Manipulation
The following are violations that result in account action:
For hosts:- Pressuring guests to change or remove reviews
- Offering payment, gifts, or discounts in exchange for a positive review
- Threatening guests in connection with a review
- Leaving a review for a stay that did not occur
- Coordinated fake reviews to harm a host
- Demanding compensation in exchange for leaving or withholding a review
Romancha may remove reviews suspected of manipulation even if individual content guidelines are not violated.
Host Response to Reviews
Hosts may leave a public response to a guest review. Responses must follow the same content standards as reviews. Romancha will remove host responses that contain personal attacks or harassment.
Review Display
- Reviews are shown on Listings in reverse chronological order.
- The host's rating is an average of all verified reviews.
- Romancha does not filter, curate, or manipulate which reviews appear (except as described in the removal criteria above).
